Overview
How Ciao's surveys measure personality, values, and world beliefs.
Ciao runs three assessments built from public-domain psychology research. Each measures a different layer of who you are.
- Personality — stable patterns in how you think, feel, and behave. Built from the AMBI battery, which combines eight established personality inventories.
- Values — the motivational goals that guide your decisions and define what you care about. Based on the Portrait Values Questionnaire (PVQ-RR).
- World Beliefs — your deep, largely automatic assumptions about what the world is fundamentally like. Based on the Primals Inventory (PI-99).
All scales report on a 0–50 scale with a percentile against a reference population. Neither high nor low scores are inherently better — each profile has strengths and challenges depending on context.
